Ecotoxicity Technical Advisory Panel (ETAP)

A panel of four external experts, ETAP is a central component of MERA's scientific program. The panel helps MERA identify and evaluate emerging issues, explore new scientific approaches, develop potential research concepts, and prioritize opportunities where collaborative research could meaningfully advance environmental science.

Each year, MERA convenes a meeting where ETAP panelists present their findings on specific "issues of concern" (IOCs) and emerging issues that are cutting-edge topics the mining industries need to know more about.
